Our Perspective

At BELLAURA, doing things properly is not a policy. It is simply how we work. From the beginning, we have made decisions with the long term in mind. The materials we choose, the people we work with, the way we treat everyone we encounter. These are not separate considerations from the clothes themselves. They are part of them.

Made to Last

The most responsible piece of clothing is one you keep wearing. This is why we design with timelessness in mind rather than seasonal trends. We focus on silhouettes and details that remain relevant year after year, in materials that age well and feel better with time.

We use natural fibres across our collection: organic cotton, merino wool, cashmere, Tencel, and viscose. For our beachwear, where natural fibres are not suitable, we use fabric made from mainly recycled polyamide sourced from industrial waste, a considered choice that reflects the same thinking.

Made in Europe

Every piece in our collection is produced in Europe, in collaboration with carefully chosen manufacturers who share our values. We visit our partners, we know the people behind the work, and we build relationships that last. Good working conditions and fair treatment are not aspirations. They are requirements.

Our production partners include ALEC Group and Goucam in Portugal, Calimar in Italy, and textile artisans Albano Morgado and Somelos in Portugal. Each has been chosen for their craft, their standards, and their integrity.

Honest by Nature

We do not make claims we cannot stand behind. Sustainability is a word that is used too freely, and we prefer to speak plainly: we make considered choices, we work with people we trust, and we try to improve continuously.

There are always things we can do better. We remain open about this, and we take the long view, because we believe that is the only view worth taking.
