FROM SKETCH TO SAMPLE
Once an idea takes form, it is translated into detailed sketches and precise technical specifications. These become the blueprints for collaboration with our production partners in Portugal. Andreas Bundgaard Rørdam, our CEO, oversees the process, coordinating timelines, logistics, and communication to ensure that what Laura envisions is brought to life with care and consistency.
THE ART OF FABRIC SELECTION
Choosing the right fabric is one of the most considered steps in our process. We maintain a curated material archive and source new textiles through personal relationships with trusted suppliers, as well as through textile fairs such as Milano Unica and Première Vision. CRAFTING WITH PRECISION
Production begins with the first sample, made by skilled hands in Portugal. Each piece is refined through several iterations by adjusting fit, feel, and finish until everything is exactly as it should be. This process typically spans six to eight months and reflects the level of care and attention that goes into everything we make.
THE FINISHED PIECE
From the first sketch to the final stitch, every piece carries the intention behind it. That is what we work toward with every collection and what we believe a customer can feel when they wear it.
